Hialeah venue deploys five stages and 100 artists for dystopian Halloween

Factory Town in Hialeah, Florida, is executing a distinct thematic shift for its annual Hocus Pocus music festival this weekend. The venue, located at 4800 NW 37th Ave, has adopted a specific dystopian aesthetic for the 2026 edition of the event.

Pasquale Rotella, who oversees the space, stated that the organization is introducing a new theme labeled Dystopian Halloween. This change moves the festival away from traditional haunted house tropes and toward a darker, industrial atmosphere. Rotella noted that the multi-use creative space is focused on the electronic music community and that the venue will look different from previous years due to the increased energy invested in the design.

The programming spans three nights, running from Friday through Sunday. More than 100 artists are scheduled to perform across five interconnected stages. The lineup is not limited to house and techno, which are the venue's staples. Rotella confirmed that the festival will also feature disco, drum and bass, and progressive genres. This variety is intended to create a unique sonic environment for attendees.

Beyond the audio components, the event emphasizes visual and physical immersion. The venue plans to use immersive visuals and encourages costumes to enhance the dystopian setting. Rotella described the approach as focused on community and art in different forms. He emphasized that the experience is not just about the performers on stage, but also about the venue itself serving as a central element of the production.

The festival targets a crowd ready to engage with the industrial environment. The structure of the event relies on the interconnected nature of the five stages to keep the energy high throughout the three-day period. Tickets for the event are available for purchase for the upcoming weekend.
