The redesign adds language support for ten languages and introduces a Health Age metric based on wearable data.

Apple expanded language support for its redesigned Health app to include global English, Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, and Vietnamese. The update brings personalized health insights to users in these regions. The app is built with Apple Intelligence at its core. It adapts to individual health metrics across iPhone and iPad.
The new interface includes an Insights tab that provides summaries of heart, sleep, readiness, fitness, vitals, and cycle tracking data. A dedicated For You section offers recommendations based on daily habits. For example, the app may suggest adjusting a wind-down routine after consecutive nights of interrupted sleep. The update also pairs data with educational videos and articles from clinical experts.
A new Longevity tab analyzes longitudinal metrics across heart health, sleep, mental wellbeing, movement, metabolic health, hearing, and nutrition. The central feature is Health Age. This metric translates data from the Apple Watch, including VO2 max, resting heart rate, sleep, and heart rate variability, into a figure that shows how a user’s body tracks relative to their chronological age. Users can also input clinical laboratory data such as A1c and LDL cholesterol to enrich their long-term health picture.
The update introduces at-home movement evaluations that do not require specialized equipment. Using an iPhone camera and an Apple Watch, users can measure flexibility, strength, balance, movement mechanics, and VO2 max. The system provides real-time audio and visual feedback. The experience is powered by on-device vision-based AI models developed with clinical experts. No video is recorded, stored, or shared during the assessment.
The redesigned Health app is available today in the iOS 27.3 developer beta. It will roll out to the public as a free software update later this year. Apple stated it will continue to expand language support for the app. The redesign is available on Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone and iPad models with the latest software. Some features are available only on iPhone. Health Age requires an Apple Watch. The VO2 max test requires an Apple Watch, AirPods Pro 3, or a third-party heart rate sensing device. Some features require users to be 18 or older.
Apple Intelligence is available when the device language is set to one of the supported languages. These include Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Some features may vary by region or language. Certain server-side features are subject to daily usage limits. Apple noted that features are subject to change and availability may vary due to local laws.
