Harris County residents tracking the latest in global pop culture have a new reason to tune in. Beyoncé appears on the cover of the October 2026 edition of i-D magazine. The publication marks the star’s return to the magazine after a 20-year gap.

The cover shoot celebrates a specific business milestone. Beyoncé’s haircare brand, Cécred, is expanding into the United Kingdom. This move follows the brand's initial launch in 2024.

Beyoncé clarified her role in the venture during an interview with the magazine. She stated, “I’m the founder, visionary, and sole investor, not the face or model for this brand.” The singer emphasized that the products are designed to solve real problems.

She co-founded Cécred with her mother, Tina Knowles. The brand blends haircare traditions with science. Beyoncé noted that the goal was to create products that perform well enough that even people who do not listen to her music would use them.

The visual campaign was photographed by Blair Caldwell. Shiona Turini handled the styling. Beyoncé wore a white fur ensemble and white stilettos. The heels featured a detail resembling the Cécred oil bottle cap.

Her last appearance on the i-D cover occurred in 2006. That issue celebrated the release of her album B’Day. The current cover shifts focus from her music career to her work as an entrepreneur.

Beyoncé is the sole investor in Cécred. The brand operates on the principle that it should deliver tangible results. The UK expansion represents a new phase for the company founded in 2024.
