Selma Blair has broken her silence regarding her arrest at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Blair, known for her role in "Cruel Intentions," posted an emotional video to Instagram on Friday. In the clip, she addressed the events of October 11, when she was taken into custody after an altercation on a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles.

The actress stated that she had remained quiet because her attorneys advised her not to discuss the details while her legal case is ongoing. She expressed remorse to those affected by her behavior, noting that her son and she received many supportive messages from fans.

Blair said, "Not one day ever have I intended to hurt or frighten anyone a day in my life. To the people that I disappointed, that I hurt, that I frightened, alarmed, I am so sorry." She concluded the video by saying she would focus on her health and her son.

The arrest followed Delta Flight 938's arrival at JFK on October 11. Port Authority Police responded to a report of a physically abusive passenger after the plane parked at the gate. Two flight attendants reported injuries, and one was transported to a hospital for evaluation. Dispatch audio released by TMZ indicated officials requested medical personnel for a bloody nose and bite marks.

A representative for Blair told TMZ that the actress experienced a medical emergency leading to the behavior. She received medical attention after landing and was in stable condition. Blair appeared in Queens Criminal Court on October 12 to face charges.

Charging documents allege Blair assaulted a police officer and a nurse after being secured to a stretcher. The documents state she kicked an officer in the face, neck, and chest during transport to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. She also allegedly kicked a nurse in the chest upon arrival. A judge set her bail at $20,000 cash or a $60,000 bond. She is scheduled to return to court in January.
